The minimum fee to answer a question or perform a service is $50.00. If the charge for the answer to your question is the minimum fee of $50, the AMT Advisor will prepare and e-mail you an answer, and send you an e-mail invoice (see payments page for more about the e-mail invoice).
If the charge to answer a question (or to perform any service) is above $50.00, the AMT Advisor will quote a flat fee in advance for answering the question or providing the service. The AMT Advisor will not begin work on the questions or services until you have agreed to the fee to be charged. Fees are based on the amount of time it will take to answer the question or perform the service. Therefore, the fee that will be quoted is indirectly based on the complexity of the question asked or the services requested. Fees are calculated based on a rate of $150 an hour for tax law questions and $100 an hour for form preparation or tax accounting questions or services.
The AMT Advisor uses the Paypal e-mail invoicing system. Upon sending you the answer to your question (or in cases where an upfront payment is required, before beginning work on your answer) you will be sent an e-mail invoice. By clicking on the indicated button in the e-mail, you can pay the invoice through the Paypal processing system with the credit card of your choice, even if you do not have a Paypal account. Payment for the questions answered or other services provided by the AMT Advisor are due on receipt.
If an answer given by the AMT Advisor is shown to be wrong, or any service is performed incorrectly, and fault for the wrong answer or incorrect performance lies with the AMT Advisor, a full refund of any fees paid will be given. In other situations, refunds are at the sole discretion of the AMT Advisor. However, we want you to be a satisfied client. If you are dissatisfied with any service you have received, please let us know so that we can do whatever it takes to fix the problem.
